Tea Party Challenge #2 - Tea for a Cause.
 

Charity/Organization: Invisible Children
 
Location: In the largest ballroom/on the rooftop of a prestigious New York City hotel, overlooking the cityscape and sunset.
 
Activities: In the ballroom, there will be live entertainment by musical guests for less-prestigious guests and anyone who wants to dance or enjoy music. Guests can request songs for a price (the money will be donated to IC). There will be guest speakers supporting IC both in the ballroom and on the rooftop. The main tea party for the most prestigious guests will be held on the rooftop.
 
Special Guests: The current POTUS & FLOTUS, Kristen Bell, Kate Middleton & Prince William, Pete Wentz, Betsey Johnson, other famous people & important IC execs.
 
Dress Code: Black tie/Early 20th century conservative tea party apparel. Suits with modestly colored vests and bowties for men; practical dresses and short gloves for women. Boys will wear suits and bowties as well, young girls wear dresses but no gloves.
 
Refreshments: Various teas and finger foods (gourmet catered finger sandwiches, mini quiches, etc.) will be served in the ballroom. Alcoholic refreshments, such as expensive wines and champagne will be served on the rooftop only. New York’s finest restaurants and bakeries would cater various French and Italian entrees, sides, and rich deserts on the rooftop.

I'm so stoked for summer vacation. This weekend is going to be filled with catching up on homework and working ahead in all of my classes so I can be finished and have some study time before finals. I'm just ready for everything to be over and done with. I'm going to L.A. for 4 days in June, then I'm going camping in July. <- that's gonna be super fun, just me & my best guy friend and our families. Finally some time just with him - no cell service, no internet.
